We’re into week two and getting more resources together! We will have a google classroom by the end of the week so we can have more of a back and forth with students. We’re looking into finding ways we can interact more than just a message board, zoom has been a great resource for video chatting and hangouts. We’ve also been looking into Tabletopia and getting and account with Pogo so we can play games together through our connection!

Hello and welcome to our selection of resources for afterschool activities, links and projects to do with your family at home.

Please use the tabs on the side of the page, or that appear under the Afterschool heading to navigate to Projects where you will find activities you can do at home, links to educational videos and games like code.org to help engage your students during their downtime as well as a few scavenger hunts that can help focus a block of time to help teach your student to navigate the internet wisely.

To start you off given the important health and safety concerns we are facing as a nation, the following pepper and soap project is a fun and easy way to show your student the important of washing your hands!

It was recommended by Kristen Bell, it’s a pretty great experiement, and you can see this article of teachers and parents doing it with their kids.

Return later for more updates to easy and fun activities to do at home!
